Job Summary

Snackruptors USA Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Packer to join our manufacturing team in Mountville, PA. The Packer is responsible for packaging finished products into customer-ready containers or work-in-process packaging while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are packaged accurately, safely, and according to company and customer specifications.

 

Schedule

2nd Shift Schedule:
Monday - Friday

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

 

Additional overtime or schedule adjustments may be required based on business needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare boxes, bags, and containers for packaging finished or bulk products.
  • Package products according to established specifications and production standards.
  • Verify proper labeling, coding, and orientation of packaged items.
  • Maintain accurate product counts and case quantities.
  • Apply labels, date codes, and other required markings accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout the shift.
  • Follow all company safety, food safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality procedures.
  • Report food safety, quality, or safety concerns immediately to supervision.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and team production goals.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and workplace standards.

 

Food Safety & Quality Requirements

Employees are required to comply with all food safety and quality programs, including but not limited to:

  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • HACCP Programs
  • Allergen Control Programs
  • Sanitation Standards
  • SQF and Food Safety Procedures
  • Workplace Safety Policies

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and GMP practices preferred.

 

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work around moving machinery and forklift traffic
