Job purpose
Training Supervisor works in production to deliver processing training to employees and oversee Packing Hall Trainers.
Duties and Responsibilities
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Prepare and deliver training modules as per the requirement.
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods.
- Track employee performance and progress.
- Conduct effective induction and hands-on training sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
- Participate in training content development to meet company needs.
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
- Manage the onboarding records and the training follow up questionnaires.
- Constantly communicate with the Packing Hall trainers for ongoing projects and new projects.
- Acts with integrity and protect sensitive data confidentiality.
- Issue disciplinary action when needed.
- Competency checks performed for all processing employees on a weekly basis.
- Self-Improvement in all areas of processing when no training is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Packing Hall.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as training supervisor or similar.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Capability to produce reports and presentations for senior leadership when needed.
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
- Expertise in Excel and MS office.
- Capability to work flexible schedule and overtime across all shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working conditions
- Always work indoors.
- Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting and temperature.
Physical requirements
- Standing involved.
- May repeat the same movement.
- Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.
- Ability to bend or twist their body.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
