Job purpose
Supervise and maintain the company’s essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and network integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote support, troubleshooting and resolution of computer and mobile device hardware and software issues, telephony, printers, and networking.
- Complete Employee IT Onboarding\Offboarding\Leave\ Role changes as received.
- Coordinate IT service, requests from employees and log and track these tasks.
- Manage all physical and virtual servers and any supporting tools/technologies with a focus on Windows servers.
- Execute and maintain automation scripts using
- Perform daily infrastructure dashboard monitoring and infrastructure health checks, including anti-virus protection status, backups job completion.
- Manage break-fix activities with OEM vendors.
- Create and improve technical articles and other procedures for all internal systems.
- Work with the Team to elevate set of permissions within active directory and office 365.
- Work with IT Infrastructure staff to ensure network connectivity and configuration.
- Develop Power Automation solutions as per the business requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to helpdesk technicians
- Plan and build new servers and configuration change as per business request and in compliance with server build standard with Change Management Policy.
- Collect and analyze information to identify areas for continuous improvement with in RDJ’s IT Infrastructure.
- Assist in planning and the design of infrastructure changes ensuring service delivery targets, industry standards, capacity requirements, technical requirements and budget constraints are met
- Support stakeholders to develop and maintain project plans, project task and resource requirements.
- Assist in preparation of project status reports and other required documentation.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware equipment, software licenses, and other peripherals
- Responsible for product support and warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, as well as hardware purchases, and license information.
- Perform other assigned duties
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant systems/network administration work experience in Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- Microsoft Servers, Cloud, and Hybrid Certification.
- Supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Windows 10 & 11, Server 2016-2022
- Remote Desktop Services - Remote Apps, Exchange 2019
- Microsoft Office 2016, 365
- Desk-side hardware and software support experience
- SharePoint fundamentals
- Ability to multi-task.
- Manufacturing industry knowledge is a plus.
